Since the late 1800’s the looting of historic sites has become recognized as a serious global threat to classical archaeological endeavors. Season to season these sites are covered to prevent discovery. Rarely can the budget of these projects fund round the clock security. Bearing that in mind, the exact locations of these ongoing digs will not be disclosed.

Artifact identification, cataloguing, field analysis, site photography, illustrative site profiles and graphs, field reports and monitoring of volunteers was also done at this site.
